2. september 2021

If you're involved in the advertising world in Denmark, you know who Henrik Juul is.

If you're in the business world, the same applies to Jørgen Madsen Lindemann.

And if you're in the media industry, you know Keld Reinicke.

All three are now part of an active investor team around MediaCatch.

The company is the next generation of audio and visual media intelligence software. The company conducts brand and media analysis and offers a range of products such as sponsorship analytics and media monitoring. It has just completed a capital increase, which will enable it to raise its ambitions.

explains CEO, Lars Damgaard Nielsen

Unique investors

The expertise that the investors bring is truly unique. With their knowledge and help, we can much more easily tackle the market and technology from three angles. Henrik Juul is the most knowledgeable about the advertising industry in Denmark, Jørgen Lindemann is a highly professional businessman with experience in both large sponsorship deals and scaling companies, and Keld Reinicke has deep insight into all new and traditional media.

Common to everything MediaCatch does is that it is driven by unique software that analyzes media content in new ways. Using AI, algorithms, and machine learning, MediaCatch can see, hear, and understand what is happening in video, audio, and text 24 hours a day across all channels and genres. The company uses proprietary technologies, such as logo and facial recognition.

That's why they invested

Henrik Juul

MediaCatch excels at creating simple solutions to complex problems. This will soon enable them to offer real-time status reports on brands' actual standing with consumers. In the future, it would be nice to avoid outdated reports from various analyses that are already obsolete by the time they begin. MediaCatch can already offer advanced and in-depth monitoring of sponsors' value and impact, unmatched anywhere else. The team at MediaCatch is incredibly skilled, and the potential is enormous.

Jørgen Madsen Lindemann

I see huge potential in the company and their vision of providing clear analyses of the value of sponsorships. Additionally, the team is strong, with unique expertise in areas such as AI and machine learning.

Keld Reinicke

The potential for MediaCatch is immense. In a media landscape shifting towards audio and visual content, the company's vision to deliver insights, personalized analyses, and data visualization—driven by AI and smart technologies—is exactly right. MediaCatch has impressed me by being so far ahead.

Born out of the University of Southern Denmark

MediaCatch originated from a project at the Media Research and Innovation Center at the University of Southern Denmark. Most of the founders also come from SDU, and the university is pleased with today’s announcement.

We are very proud. When research turns into knowledge that leaves the university and is actively used in a company that helps create jobs, it doesn’t get any better than that. In doing so, we fulfill one of our core missions as a university.

says Jens Ringsmose, Rector of the University of Southern Denmark.

MediaCatch is part of the media tech cluster, MediaCity Odense.
